No Longer Free for Volunteers!
At its December 2011 meeting, the NJ EMT Training Fund Advisory Board voted to direct all funding to initial EMT certification training under the new Education Curriculum, and to discontinue funding of all recertification CEUs. Thus, we can no longer offer free subscriptions toThe Gold Cross magazine to volunteer EMTs. We are hoping to retain funding for CEU tests taken through the magazine (for volunteer EMTs only), but will not be able to make our case to the Board until its meeting in March 2012.

As it now appears, all free subscriptions will end with the Summer 2012 issue. We will begin a subscription drive in early 2012 to enable our readers to keep receiving The Gold Cross after that. For more details, click the link in the green box below.
