No Longer Free for Volunteers!
At its December 2011 meeting, the NJ EMT Training Fund Advisory Board voted to direct all funding to initial EMT certification training under the new Education Curriculum, and to discontinue funding of all recertification CEUs. Thus, we can no longer offer free subscriptions toThe Gold Cross magazine to volunteer EMTs. At the March 2012 meeting, we made a presentation to the Board requesting that they retain funding for CEU tests offered through the magazine, and they voted in our favor.

Assuming the Commissioner of Health accepts the Board's recommendations, all free subscriptions will end after the Summer 2012 issue, but the tests contained within will continue to be free thereafter for volunteer EMTs in New Jersey. For more details, click the link in the green box below.
